ANNUAL FIRST DISTRICT REPORT AND NEW YEAR’S PARTY

Tuesday December 31: Residents and well-wishers of the first electoral district are invited to come out to the Annual First District Report and New Year’s Party on Saturday January 11 at 7:00 p.m.

The event will take place on the Cappoon’s Bay Recreational Grounds and will feature your “man on a mission”, Premier and Representative for the First District, Hon. Andrew A. Fahie.

Residents can expect updates on various programs and initiatives taking place in the district including, repairs to the infrastructure and recreational areas, scholarship and services for entrepreneurs, the restoration of crucial facilities and much more.

“Every year for the past 12 years we have done this report. This is a time for me as the First District Representative, no matter what other capacity that I am in, to report my stewardship over the past year and to tell the people what they can expect in the coming year,” Hon. Fahie said.

Despite his new capacity as Premier Hon. Fahie said that he is committed to the people of the first district who are his first line employers. “Although I am the First District Representative first, I am also going to ensure that District 1-9 get their fair share,” Hon. Fahie stated.

These meetings according to the District Representative are important because it illustrates that he is working on the behalf of the people. “People see things happening and if you don’t communicate to them, to let them know that this is one of the initiatives that you were behind, they might think it just happened or someone else who didn’t do any work at all will pop up and look to take the credit. So this is a business that while you are helping, you also have to report and make sure the needs of the people are met,” Hon. Fahie said.

“We will be having an eight day count down to the Annual First District Report and New Year’s Party where with the help of Lyte Communications we will be featuring some of my accomplishments in the district.” The District Representative revealed.

There will be radio commercials airing from January 2-11. Interested persons can also look out for two Lyte Vibrations interviews which will air on CBN radio 90.9 FM on January 1 and 8 at 8:00 a.m. and on ZBVI 780 AM on Jan. 2 and 9 at 9:00 a.m.

Fahie revealed.

“We have had some great accomplishments over the last ten months since taking office. We want the people of the first district and well-wishers to come out, it will be a short reporting and then we will have a good time together in the New Year with the first district annual party so that you can be informed,” Hon. Fahie concluded.

First District meetings are held annually. It is an opportunity for the elected official Hon. Andrew A. Fahie to report back to his constituents.
